Only the best fruits are used by the fine distillery Prinz from Hörbranz for the production of the fine apricot distillate. The burning process is carried out as gently as possible, at low temperatures, so that the full flavor of apricot in the distillate is obtained. To take the freshly distilled schnapps its sharpness, it is stored after the firing process for many months in the so-called "Hafele" (earthenware vessels). By exchanging air through the micropores in the stoneware, undesirable flavors are filtered out. On the other hand, important flavors and aromas may develop.
