Mortlach 21 Years 0.7l Special Release 2020

This single malt whisky is one of the Special Releases 2020 of Diageo. The Mortlach 21 years gets its finish in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. For its robust and meaty character, Mortlach is often referred to as the "Beast of Dufftown".
This particular bottling is limited to 7,692 bottles. A very complex distillation process developed by Alexander Cowie in the 19th century is used to produce the Mortlach whiskys. The spirit goes through six different stills, which differ in shape and size, and is distilled exactly 2.81 times.

Carefully selected by respected whisky industry professionals, these special releases are particularly sought after by collectors and are available in small quantities only.
