The history
The Japanese whiskey maker Togouchi has been operating a distillery on Honshu Island since 1918. The distillery called Chugoku Jozo initially made only Japanese spirits and fruit liqueurs.
First in 1990 that the idea of producing a blended whiskey was put into practice and a product was created. However, the distillery does not distill its own whiskeys, but instead imports the individual distillates from Canada and Scotland.
