Don Q Gran Anejo Rum 0.7l

The Don Q Gran Anejo is a balanced and mild rum from Puerto Rico. It is made for 98% from a 9 to 12 year old blend and for 2% from a rum that has been matured up to 50 years using the Solera process.

In 1861 Don Juan Serrallés opened a sugar cane plantation called Hacienda Mercedita in Ponce, Puerto Rico. As early as 1865 he distilled his first rum in a copper pot which was produced in France. Years later, in 1934, it was launched under the brand name "Don Q". The name of the brand was Don Quixote, the main character of the family's favorite novel. Just one year later, under Don Juan's son, Juan Eugenio Serrallés, they began building a second, more modern distillery in the same location. Many different rums have already been launched under the brand name "Don Q" - both nationally and internationally.
