The raspberry is because of it's fruity, sweet berries not only a popular garden plant, but also really goot for the production of fruit schnapps. Highly aromatic forest raspberries are getting macerated and for the Prinz Himbeer-Geist afterwards distilled.

The delicate distillery Prinz from the Austrian Hörbranz produces with the practical knowledge of four generations, distillates of the highest fruit enjoyment. The lovely smelling raspbarry-distillate is storaged for several months in the so-called "Hafele" (Earthenware vessel). Only when the burn master is content with the ripeness, the schnapps gets brought to the right drinking strength and botteled.
