The history

The Paul John Distillery was founded in 1992 by Paul P. John and trades under John Distilleries Pvt Ltd.

Initially, the produced whiskey came under the label "National Distilleries" with low prices on the Indian market. The desired success came with the 1995 released Blend Original Choice, which was qualitatively much higher quality. In the same year, the company was renamed John Distilleries.

In 2008, Paul John took over Chitali Distilleries Limited to increase the production of the required neutral alcohol for its blends. Meanwhile, vodka, wine and brandy are sold under different labels.

On its own whiskey market, the young company was already able to ensure a high market position, also because of the high import duties, and is on the international advance.
