Balvenie 12 Years The Sweet Toast of American Oak 0.7l

This 12 year old Balvenie whisky is part of the “Balvenie Stories” range of the distillery. This special bottling tells the story of Malt Master apprentice Kelsey McKechnie. She wanted to create a more fruity and sweeter Balvenie whisky. To do this, she imported new oak barrels from Kentucky. The barrels were toasted at Balvenie and then filled with Balvenie whisky, which was previously aged in former bourbon barrels. This gives the Balvenie 12 Years notes of vanilla, coconut and candied fruit.
