Product information
Aikan means marriage in Awarak, the language of the native people of Martinique. The whisky bears this name because it is the result of a "marriage" of two different continents and climates (European and tropical) and two worlds (rum and whisky).
First the whisky matures for at least 3 years in the traditional way in Scotland and then for 2 years in rum casks in Martinique.
This creates an exceptional whisky with notes of tropical fruits, vanilla and some smoke.
