The history
Michael Molloy founded the distillery in Tullamore in 1829. The small town is located next to the Grand Canal, this could be perfectly used for transport. In 1857, the heritage of the distillery went to Molloy's nephew, Bernard Daly. Where the line was transferred to his son, Captain Bernard Daly. Unfortunately, this did not understand much of the whiskey making and handed over its leadership of the distillery to Daniel E. Williams. In the 1860s, Daniel E. Williams started working for Tullamore as a young distiller and gradually worked his way up. The distillery Tullamore, who works with three stills with triple distiallation, crucially continues. Thus, he and his family were later appointed as partners. From his initials he made the addition "Dew".
