The Saint James 12 year old Rhum Vieux Agricole comes from Martinique. Only sugar cane that was harvested during the dry season is used for production. A 12-year aging in oak barrels in a tropical climate gives this Rhum Agricole notes of nutmeg, plums, roasted coffee and wood.

The roots of the Saint James brand go back to 1765, where this rum is first mentioned. For the Saint James Rhum, unlike rum based on molasses, only fresh sugar cane juice is used for the production. This gives the rhum its unique and particularly fruity aroma. The production of the traditional Rhum Agricole takes place under strictly controlled conditions of the "Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée", a state protection seal for the highest quality standards of the French island of Martinique.
