History
In 1855 Gebhard Hämmerle I. founded an inn with a cider factory and distillery. After the estate was handed over to his grandson Gebhard Hämmerle in 1952, the distillery has been a family business ever since.

Production
Only the best and most ripe fruits are distilled in the copper kettles and then brought with spring water to the right drinking strength.
