Prinz Alte Haus-Zwetschke 0,04l - old house-damson fruit brandy

The Alte Haus-Zwetschke of the delicate distillery Prinz from Hörbranz persents itself gloriously mild in the taste, with a pleasant sweetness and a fabulous fruit intense and proves thereby that a plum schnapps is having special facetts.

The taste of the off-dry plum stays, while the temperature of the burning process stays as low as possible. Only the heart of the double burning process, the so-called middle course, gets used for the production.

To take the sharpness of the schnapps, it's getting storaged for many months after the burning process in the so-called "Hafele" (earthenware vessel). Unwanted taste notes are getting filtered out through the air exchange through the micropores in the stoneware. On the other hand can important taste nuamnces get developed. Afterwards storages the marvelous smelling plum-distillate, under addition of fruit extracts, for several months in a wodd barrel. Thus gets the Alte Hauszwetschke not only it's distinctive taste, but also it's golden-yellow color.
